The Royal Standard Ely, public house and restaurant, is the oldest building on Ely's Fore Hill, having originally opened in the 15th Century. The building has been extended over the years and is now one of Ely's most popular dining and meeting places, attracting both the local residents and visitors. Out extensive food menu is focused on fresh and local as well as seafood and steak, with a good selection of traditional pub food thrown into the mix. An eclectic 60 bottle wine list compliments the varied menu and you can also expect to find well kept real ales, cocktails and a great range of premium spirits.
